Position SummaryThe Equipment Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the ongoing functionality, efficiency, and safety of UCBC’s equipment and machinery through preventative maintenance and timely repairs.Note: This position description outlines general responsibilities and duties. - Exemplify and promote safety in all aspects of the position.
- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctions, and repair or replace defective parts on machinery and electrical/mechanical equipment.
- Manage company vehicle fleet, including maintenance scheduling, registration, and overall condition tracking.
- Develop and manage a preventative maintenance schedule for production equipment.
- Identify, procure, and manage an inventory of critical replacement parts for process equipment.
- Maintain an organized workshop and parts storage area.
- Prioritize and manage maintenance projects, including cost estimation and procurement of materials/tools.
- Coordinate with external contractors for equipment installation and repairs.
- Complete assigned maintenance tickets in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist with internal and external festivals and events, as needed.
- Serve as an ambassador for the company, upholding UCBC’s values and standards.
- Perform additional duties to support organizational goals, as needed.

Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in maintaining and repairing brewing or production machinery preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office, email communication, and online research.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
