Position SummaryThe Equipment Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the ongoing functionality, efficiency, and safety of UCBC’s equipment and machinery through preventative maintenance and timely repairs.Note: This position description outlines general responsibilities and duties. It is not intended to be an exhaustive list. Other duties may be assigned as needed, and responsibilities may evolve without prior notice.

  • Exemplify and promote safety in all aspects of the position.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctions, and repair or replace defective parts on machinery and electrical/mechanical equipment.
  • Manage company vehicle fleet, including maintenance scheduling, registration, and overall condition tracking.
  • Develop and manage a preventative maintenance schedule for production equipment.
  • Identify, procure, and manage an inventory of critical replacement parts for process equipment.
  • Maintain an organized workshop and parts storage area.
  • Prioritize and manage maintenance projects, including cost estimation and procurement of materials/tools.
  • Coordinate with external contractors for equipment installation and repairs.
  • Complete assigned maintenance tickets in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist with internal and external festivals and events, as needed.
  • Serve as an ambassador for the company, upholding UCBC’s values and standards.
  • Perform additional duties to support organizational goals, as needed.

 Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in maintaining and repairing brewing or production machinery preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office, email communication, and online research.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
