Shipping & Receiving Specialist

There’s an open Shipping and Receiving Specialist role open here at Revolution Brewing, and it’s an integral role here. In this role you’ll be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, preparing distributor orders, and organizing our inventory goods. You’ll spend most of your time driving our forklifts to load/unload trucks with raw materials and packaged beer.

On top of that, you’ll help pick orders under guidance of our S&R Supervisor, work with our Taproom and Pub Managers to fulfill beer orders and deliver them to their coolers. In order to do so, you will need a valid driver's license and be able to drive a box truck. In general, the ability to stay organized, keep public areas neat, and able to communicate with managers will help you start your career at Rev.

This is a full-time, first shift role. We’re located on Kedzie between Belmont and Addison, off of the Belmont blue line, 152 Addison bus, or the 77 Belmont bus. This role will pay $18-21/hour, depending on experience, and offers full benefits, including medical/dental/vision insurances, paid time off, 401(k) with match, and more! 

Qualifications

• Have a valid drivers license that you can present on your first day of work.
• You have at least 1 year of Warehouse and/or Shipping and Receiving experience. 
• You either have a forklift certification or can take our in-house certification class and learn how to safely drive a fork truck.
• You have a high standard for quality, attention to detail and cleanliness.
• You can maneuver or lift 50-60 lbs, and regularly move up to 22lbs throughout an 8 hour shift, with the ability to operate fork trucks for long periods of time. You’ll also be able to work in an environment with high noise levels.
