Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the operations of four locations, ensuring excellence in service, quality, and customer experience. This leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the success of our taproom and smokery venues through strategic management, team development, and operational oversight. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a passion for hospitality and a proven track record in multi-location management.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day operations across all four locations, maintaining consistency in service delivery, product quality, and brand standards.
  • Implement and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) teams.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol regulations at each site.
  • Manage vendor and supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective inventory management and procurement.
  • Lead efforts to optimize operational efficiency and enhance the customer experience.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Supervise FOH Managers and the BOH General Manager, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Coordinate training programs to ensure staff are knowledgeable about products, service standards, and safety protocols.
  • Recruit, hire, and retain top talent to build high-performing teams.

Financial Oversight

  • Monitor financial performance across all locations, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense control.
  • Analyze sales data and operational metrics to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost savings.
  • Ensure accurate cash handling, reporting, and compliance with financial policies.

Customer Experience and Brand Representation

  • Maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
  • Address customer concerns promptly and effectively to uphold the venues’ reputation.
  • Promote a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business and community engagement.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in multi-location hospitality or restaurant management, preferably in a tap room, brewery, or similar setting.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams.
  • Excellent organizational and operational skills, with a focus on process improvement.
  • Financial acumen and experience managing budgets and P&L statements.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and alcohol regulations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities effectively.
