$18/hr with no/limited experience, moving to $19/hr once fully trained

Purpose
The Packaging Operator is responsible for packaging Castle Danger beverages on our canning and keg line while adhering to Castle Danger Brewery’s high-quality standards and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Duties
· Safe and efficient operation of mechanical machinery and equipment used in beverage packaging
· Maintain accurate quality records and conduct regular quality checks
· Perform routine preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, adjustments, cleaning, and repairs of packaging machinery and equipment, including working with external technicians
· Collaborate with Packaging Manager and production teams on logistics and support needs for preparation of daily packaging runs
· Communicate effectively with teammates
· Stock and organize product in coolers
· Keep excellent inventory records
· Keep overall production area clean and organized
· Safe operation of forklifts, manual, and electric pallet jacks
· Adhere to all SOPs and update as needed
· Ensure proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to all safety guidelines
· Other duties as assigned
Requirements
· 21 years of age or older
· Must be passionate about pride in work
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills required; able to give and receive feedback
· Ability to work as a team towards a common goal
· Flexibility to work variety of hours when needed (Mon-Friday, no weekends)
· Self-motivated, positive attitude, initiative, and adaptability
· Ability to perform routine and repetitive tasks
· Previous experience working in a manufacturing, production assembly line, or warehouse setting strongly preferred
· Previous experience with operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment strongly preferred
Physical Requirements
· Must be able to team lift 170 lbs multiple times per work shift, bend, twist, stack 24 lb flats with beer onto a pallet, and stand/walk during entire shift while working in a hot, cold and humid environment
Education Requirements
· High School diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
Assembly line: 1 year (Preferred)
