Job Overview
This role is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day movement of finished goods and materials between departments, and is accountable for ensuring that warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and distribution logistics run reliably and efficiently. The ideal candidate enjoys creating order from chaos, notices issues before they become problems, communicates proactively, and follows through consistently.
Responsibilities
Organization & Facilities Management
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized, with a focus on efficient use of space (including consolidating finished goods and storing packaging materials efficiently)
- Facilities management and maintenance - in charge of annual pest control, snow removal, backflow testing and waste removal contracts as well as as-needed building repairs
Inventory Management
- Perform weekly digital non-taproom beer inventory transfers, including out of state, sales, and FMG locations
- Keep accurate inventory of all finished goods in the coldbox: perform monthly inventory audits, investigate discrepancies and reconcile as needed in Ekos
- Monitor keg shell inventory and proactively maintain adequate inventory levels
- Add inventory transfers to truck schedule as needed (including keg shells and finished goods pickups)
Fleet Management
- Maintain vehicle fleet - including regular service, repairs, registration and inspections
- Manage Express Toll and Roadside assistance accounts
Shipping & Distribution Logistics
- Support and execute loading/unloading of delivery vehicles as needed
- Occasional coverage / support for taproom deliveries as needed
- Execute out of state and distro deliveries - build pallets, book freight, and send invoices
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and follow through with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient with Google Sheets, general computer skills
- Physical Requirements: Ability to frequently lift and/or move 25lb cases and lift and/or move 165lb kegs
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Valid driver’s license with a history of no suspensions or at fault accidents within the last three years, no DUI/DWI within the past seven years
Compensation & Benefits
- $23 - $25 per hour, depending on experience
