Head Brewer

Bad Beat Brewing is seeking an experienced Head Brewer to fully own our brewing program. This is a hands-on, independent role for someone who loves craft beer, thrives working solo, and wants creative freedom to build a standout lineup.

What You’ll Do

• Manage all brewing operations end-to-end (brewhouse, cellar, kegging)
• Develop and scale recipes for core, seasonal, and specialty releases
• Maintain quality control, consistency, and beer stability
• Handle production scheduling, inventory, and raw material ordering
• Maintain equipment, cleaning, and safety SOPs
• Track COGS, yields, and production efficiency
• Collaborate with management on new beer concepts and releases
• Support taproom releases and special events as needed

Brewery System

• 10 BBL Alpha Brewing system
• Brewing 2–3 times per week (plus cellar and kegging responsibilities)
• Keg-only production (no canning line or packaging runs)

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5+ years professional brewing experience (lead or head brewer preferred)
• Proven ability to run a brewery independently
• Strong knowledge of recipe formulation, yeast management, and QA/QC
• Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage your own production schedule
• Passion for craft beer and creative recipe development
• Comfortable with physical production work (kegs, hoses, cleaning)

Bonus Skills

• Draft system and keg fleet management experience
• Cost control and production planning experience
• Familiarity with Nevada brewing regulations
• Sensory and lab/QC experience

Compensation

• $50,000–$65,000 base salary DOE
